Web development that turns visitors into booked jobs

We build marketing websites and landing pages for service businesses in the United States and Canada. Every site is hand-built and server-rendered rather than assembled in a page builder, which means the HTML a crawler receives contains the actual words on the page. That matters more than it used to: AI answer engines do not execute JavaScript when they fetch a page, so a site that renders its content client-side is invisible to them no matter how good it looks in a browser.

The problem

Most small-business websites were built to look acceptable, not to be found or to convert. They score badly on Core Web Vitals, they bury the phone number, they have no structured data, and they were last touched three years ago. The owner knows the site is not pulling its weight but cannot tell which part is broken.

What you get

  • A hand-built, server-rendered site — the full text is in the initial HTML response, so non-JavaScript crawlers and AI engines can read it
  • Core Web Vitals engineered rather than hoped for: LCP, INP, and CLS measured before launch, not after complaints
  • Structured data (Organization, LocalBusiness where it applies, Service, FAQPage) so search engines and AI models can parse who you are and what you sell
  • A conversion path on every page: one obvious next action, a click-to-call phone link on mobile, and a form that actually delivers
  • Accessible markup — real heading hierarchy, alt text, keyboard-navigable menus, visible focus states
  • Analytics wired at launch so you can see which pages produce calls

How it works

Step 01

Audit what exists

Before writing code we measure the current site: what is indexed, what AI engines say about you today, where visitors drop off. That report is yours whether or not you hire us for the build.

Step 02

Build and validate

Design and build in staging, on your real content. We test against real devices and real Core Web Vitals numbers, not a Lighthouse score on a fast laptop.

Step 03

Launch and verify

We handle redirects from old URLs, submit the sitemap to Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools, ping IndexNow, and confirm the pages actually get indexed rather than assuming they will.

A good fit if

  • Service businesses whose customers search before they call
  • Owners replacing a slow template site or a page-builder site they cannot edit
  • Businesses that need the site to feed a booking system, CRM, or intake process rather than sit beside it

Not a fit if

  • Large e-commerce catalogues — Shopify does that better than a custom build, and we will say so
  • Anyone who wants a five-page brochure site as cheaply as possible; a template will beat us on price
  • Projects where nobody on your side can supply real photos, real service details, or real pricing

Questions we get asked

How is this different from Wix, Squarespace, or a WordPress theme?

Those are fine tools and for some businesses they are the right answer. The differences that matter for search are rendering and control: a hand-built static site ships the full page text in the first HTTP response and lets us set headers, redirects, structured data, and caching directly. Page builders inject markup we cannot control and frequently render key content with JavaScript, which non-JavaScript AI crawlers never see.

Will a new website get me to the top of Google?

No, and anyone promising that is guessing. A well-built site removes the technical reasons you cannot rank and gives you the pages to rank with. Ranking then depends on competition, content, and third-party signals like reviews and links — which take months, not weeks. We will tell you at the audit stage whether your target queries look winnable.

Do you work with businesses outside your timezone?

We work with businesses across the United States and Canada. We are a remote studio, so we agree on a written communication rhythm at kickoff — scheduled calls plus asynchronous updates — rather than pretending to be in your office.

Who owns the site when it is done?

You do. The code lives in a repository you have access to, on hosting in your own account. There is no proprietary platform to be locked into and no monthly fee required to keep the site online.
